ASP Wallet, clearly explained.

ASP is a real native Cardano token. The app’s ASP settlement wallet has not yet been funded. Choose how you protect access. Cardano ADA support and optional ADA staking are features within ASP Wallet. ADA staking is currently in Preprod testing; rewards and withdrawal verification remain unfinished. Your ASP account number is not a blockchain receiving address.

Token and funding status

Real ASP and legacy test credits are separate. ASP deposits and withdrawals require a funded settlement wallet and verified end-to-end operation. Cardano Preprod staking is available in testing. Delegation has been confirmed on the test network. Test coins have no monetary value, and rewards are not guaranteed or immediate.

Mainnet access is limited

ADA mainnet balance, receiving and bounded sending are available to the enabled owner account. NIGHT holdings and market prices are read-only; NIGHT sending is not enabled. ASP / ADA integration is in owner testing, not a general release.

Optional ADA staking

In the app, open Wallet → Grow → ADA staking, or use the Staking entry above Voting. Both open the same ADA staking feature within ASP Wallet.

Simple protection choices

Protect contains Wallet lock, Backup & recovery, Transfer privacy and About Midnight. PIN and Face ID are optional. Existing keys retain the protection they were saved with.

What is private?

In-app ASP transfers are recorded by AirShare+. Participants and authorized services can access relevant records. Ordinary Cardano transfers publish addresses and amounts. Hiding an AirTag does not hide blockchain activity.

How Midnight fits in

Registered NIGHT generates non-transferable DUST to pay Midnight fees. Shielded contracts provide privacy; DUST alone does not make a transfer private. The shielded contract candidate passed an isolated mint, sponsored transfer, burn and recovery demonstration. Production backing and deployment remain unfinished.

Already have a wallet?

Keep your existing wallet and recovery backup. ASP account recovery and Cardano wallet recovery are currently separate; older wallets retain their original backups. Never enter recovery words on this website or send them to Seer or support. A test wallet does not need to be replaced just because a mainnet setup screen appears.

One ASP. A private path in progress.

We are building a simple Private choice for ASP payments, backed 1:1 by native ASP. Sending, redemption and wallet recovery have been demonstrated in an isolated test environment. Real private payments are not available yet.

Protect and verify the backing reserve and recovery process.

How the automatic private flow will work

The selected automatic in-app design reserves the sender funded ASP, settles privately through company sASP using DUST, restores sASP to treasury and credits equal real-ASP-backed custodial ASP to the recipient. Customers do not manage sASP receiving wallets. Dedicated customer backing and settlement liquidity must not reuse ASP already backing issued sASP. Cardano deposits and withdrawals are public; the company retains authorized accounting records.

DUST pays Midnight network costs; it does not conceal an ordinary Cardano transfer. A connected provider, NIGHT holding or generated-DUST estimate is not proof of spendable sponsor DUST. Production private sending must verify sponsor capacity and total fees before confirmation; unavailable sponsorship must not silently become a public send.

What connects to what

AirShare+ uses native ASP and ADA on Cardano, with Midnight for shielded sASP operations. XRP is not an integrated AirShare+ asset. ADA pays Cardano fees, including the ADA accompanying native-token outputs. Midnight is a separate network; NIGHT and DUST are different: DUST pays Midnight transaction costs. A NIGHT holding, staking setup, Blockfrost connection or estimated DUST generation does not prove spendable sponsor capacity. Never suggest sending DUST as ordinary ASP or using DUST to hide a Cardano transfer.

Native ASP is a Cardano asset. The owner confirmed 1 billion whole ASP with zero decimals; the registry has no decimals entry. Test credits are separate and have no monetary value. Supply is not a valuation or proof of an immutable mint cap.

Cardano ↔ Midnight

sASP is the shielded Midnight representation backed 1:1 by native ASP. A limited company mainnet mint/send/return trial has confirmed receipts; that does not enable general member private payments. The chosen customer experience keeps ASP on both ends: debit or reserve the sender's funded custodial ASP, settle through company sASP using company DUST, restore the company sASP reserve, then credit the recipient an equal real-ASP-backed custodial balance. Customers should not need to acquire sASP or manage a private receiving wallet. sASP is company treasury inventory, not a second customer coin for sale. The full automatic customer settlement is still gated pending funded custody, recovery, integration and end-to-end verification. A test send from company sASP alone is not a debit from a customer's ASP. Recycling sASP is a return, not minting extra supply. Burning destroys a representation during a verified redemption; it does not destroy the backing ASP. Never claim an unverified pending transfer completed.
